About Robyn Harris, Psy.D.

I’m here to help you move from wondering what’s “wrong” with you to finally understanding yourself…and knowing what to do next.

I’m a New Jersey and New York-based therapist who specializes in therapy for adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, phobias, and navigating parenthood.

Change isn’t easy (even when it’s “good”).

Often, people tell me they’ve been in therapy before and found it helpful for understanding themselves and their patterns—but they still don’t know how to translate that insight into meaningful change. This is where I come in. Together, we’ll turn understanding into action, helping you make real, sustainable changes so you can live the life you want.

You're here because you’re ready to take control back and feel confident in yourself.

I’m Robyn Harris, and I support young adults and adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, phobias, and navigating the unique demands of parenthood. My clients have it within them to feel calm and grounded in their values. I help my clients find strength, support, ease, and self-trust by equipping them with tools they need to move through life with greater ease and confidence.

I believe therapy is most effective when approached with collaboration, evidence-based therapies, and humor. I know that your experiences are unique, so every step we take is tailored to you — guided by your pace. I will never tell you what or how to do something. This is your life. My role is to help you clarify your values and support you in making choices that move you toward them—even when anxiety or OCD is pulling you in the opposite direction.

My Style

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that we are all doing our best with the resources we have.

Life is hard. I truly believe that we are all doing the best we can with the resources we have at any given moment. Therapy with me is compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental. At the same time, I won’t shy away from gently challenging you to make meaningful changes—even when it feels uncomfortable or impossible—because I believe deeply in your capacity to do hard things and create meaningful lasting change.

Therapy with me is…

  • All parts of you are welcome here. We’ll approach them with curiosity, warmth, and respect—never with judgment.

  • Therapy with me is patient and intentional. I will meet you exactly where you are, and together we’ll take small, meaningful steps toward the changes you want. We move slowly so that the change you make is sustainable and long-lasting. When therapy moves too fast, it can create resistance. By slowing down, staying curious, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself, we create space for change that feels authentic and lasting.

  • Therapy with me is active and productive. You’ll learn and practice practical tools and strategies to help you create real change. The work can be challenging at times, and meaningful progress takes effort—but you won’t be doing it alone. I’ll be there every step of the way to support you.
